Mon. 09.25.06 Kozmo 3 is recording music for their new CD. The anticipated release is currently set for December of 2006. The CD is expected to include 12 songs. This is something we've wanted to do for a long time and since the removal of some dead weight, it has become a viable project. We hope to be playing live again in December. Sun. 07.09.06 Playing at BLISS was really cool. we really appreciated those people who came out a second night to watch us again. that was really cool. The band that played were called MINSTRAL...they made it clear that it was a reference to menstrual cycle. i'll link them up on this site when i get back and have more time for the site. MINSTRAL has a CD, which they played several songs from, and were very modern, melodic rock. we are off to thailand tommorrow morning... Fri. 07.07.06 Kozmo 3's Brian and Rob Oras would like to express our gratitude to the fine staff and people at the CITIZEN CAIN BAR here in Taipei for letting us play some of our songs. We consider ourselves fortunate to have met such cool people, even though the mangled my guitar strap without letting me know. Surprisingly, we were asked to play at a place called CLUB BLISS on TONIGHT, FRIDAY JULY 7th, before the main band. Although, it is not uncommon for us to play solo or duo sets in Seoul, it was really weird playing to an audience who had no idea who the fuck we were and what the fuck we were playing. it was exhilerating. We played: 1) Oppositionally Defiant Back Talk Blue 2) Into the Sun 3) Hey Lefty 4) Sweet Infinity 5) Third Avenue. i wished i had my STRAT the whole time!!! Brian and Rob have head of Korea until July 24th to relax and play some acoustic sets in both Taipei, Taiwan and Bangkok/Rayong(?) Thailand. (note: my birthday, in reality, is the 27th) on a more solemn note; the drummer, Uhm, from Happy Go Lucky, made an altruistic decision to surrender his sticks so that their band can get a younger skin beater to play for them and so he can pursue a professional company-man career. i think the move was retarded, but hopefully his replacement will be a girl. good luck Uhm! lastly, a friend/fan, Ricardo, told me afterwards his birthday is today, the 26th; though about a decade after me. that's fuct!! Unfortunately, i forgot their name (and other key events of the evening); nevertheless, they were a punk outfit comprised of young military guys that made up with heart what they lacked in 'tightness'.
